I learned that eye exams can detect signs of diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol.I think this is amazing.
I believe there are quite a few people who ignore eye care and feel its not important as other care. But after visiting the website it has opened my insight on it and it is very important to get your eyes checked once a year. I have diabetes that runs in my family bad and I never knew that it can be found in an eye exam. Very helpful information. My son’s school could really use a donation. They reach out to the needy families and provide education for their children. It is Slidell Early Headstart. They have a few programs in the state of Louisiana.
I learned that infants should have their eyes checked as well. I didn’t realize that doctors are able to check their eyes at that age.
