momlogic's Julie: The folks at HomeGoods are encouraging moms to create their own Mom Caves. Hey, guys have Man Caves ... so now it's our turn!
I created one this weekend in our garden area. I went on a shopping spree at HomeGoods and purchased two bamboo director's chairs, a small table, a George Nelson clock, and rug. I found a fun tablecloth that brought it all together. Then I fell in love with the pillow that said "Now Panic and Freak Out" pillow (a play on the iconic "Keep Calm and Carry On" poster from the UK). Two solar-powered lanterns will help light my way during late-night Mom Cave visits. Of course, my Mom Cave wouldn't be complete without some margarita and bloody mary mix.
I can't wait to escape in my new sanctuary!

How bout’ a “mom house”? Just kidding sort of, but it could be a tiny house, with one bedroom, just enough room for me (mom) to get away!!!!! But if not, then I would love to be considered for the promotion from Home Goods!!

A Mom cave to me would be a place where I could shut out my pets (a dog and 2 cats I rescued), no offence intended. I would read my Kindle, mess around on my computer, play with make-up, do my nails and toes fun colors, work on my autobiography in private. And let’s not forget to make prank phone calls…..JUST KIDDING!! Last but not least, I would keep that room very clean just for me!

I would love to be able to pick somethings out for my girls. They have never had a bedroom where things cordinate. It makes me smile just to think how happ they would be.
