Guest blogger Mom-To-Be: I'd heard about them. I was forewarned that many would star ex-boyfriends. I was even told that some could involve violent crime.

I'm talking, of course, about prego dreams.

You'd think we moms-to-be would be dreaming about lullabies and lace-trimmed bassinets, not Uzis and the men who did us wrong (or sometimes a combination of both!). As infrequent as sleep is in the third trimester anyway, shouldn't a pregnant woman at least get to enjoy her z's? Guess not. I often wake in a sweat, checking the bed beside me to make sure it really is my husband lying next to me, and not that tool I called a boyfriend for two long years back in the day.

But I suppose it all comes with the territory. Pregnancy has been the most amazing journey, but I'd be lying if I didn't admit that it has also been a crazy one that is unlike anything I've ever experienced. From the misshapen body (damn you, cankles!) to the mood swings from hell (sorry, honey!) to these wacko dreams, it's been a wild ride.

Thank Gawd no one else is privy to them -- unless, of course, Leo DiCaprio breaks in, which would be alright by me!
