WLWT: A Christmas baby arrived a little early.

On Thursday night, a healthy, happy baby girl was born near where Interstate 74 splits with Interstate 75 as her mom and dad raced to the hospital.

"We left the house thinking we have a couple hours. We have plenty of time," said dad Jason Davis.

"When the contractions stopped having time in between, I knew within 10 minutes. We were not going to make it to the hospital," said mom Janice Davis.

Jason said he pulled over on the side of the highway, then called 911 and told the operator his daughter's head was out.
