Denise Richards talked to the ladies of "The View" today about how she explained ex-husband Charlie Sheen's behavior to their daughters. "This is Charlie's lifestyle, he makes no bones about it" said Richards, adding, "I had to have a couple conversations with them [her girls] at this point."

While she did not call Charlie an addict, Denise said she has shared books with her girls that explain addiction to children. "I do the best I can and it's not easy," revealed Richards.

Denise and Charlie have two daughters together, Sam, almost 7, and Lola, 5. The couple were married from 2002-2006.
