I’m a mother of five, work full time, have two children that are bi-polar, twins that are 20, daughter 14, sons 8 and 6. I keep busy with Cub Scouts with my sons, playing Just Dance and Michael Jackson Experience with my kids, my sons are amazed I beat them at every MJ song! I stay busy with homework help, housework, yardwork, school activities and occassionally try to read or scrapbook!

II’m megamom because I’m helping out My kids by being grandma nanny to,soon to be,5 grandkids!!!!!

I’m a divorced mom of 4. Lol instead of calling both mommy & daddy, megamom it is. I do anything & everything, to make sure my four daughters needs are taking care of.

I think being a megamom is knowing what my kid need before they do, and helping them obtain it.

Our family has been hit by the recession very hard just as many other families. My husband has been out of work for 3 years and not for lack of trying and of course the unemployment payments have run out. In addition to my working full time I have started a cake business to supplement our income with the help of my fabulous family.

I think every mom is a mega mom! It’s takes so much time and energy to raise children. It’s amazing any of us can do it all! I have an 11 month old son at home with me all day while my husband works and takes night classes and am expecting baby number 2 in September!

Cheryl February 24, 2011, 8:09 AM

I’m a stay at home mom with an 18 month old and am also expecting baby #2! Although I’m supposed to be doing “as little as possible” per my dr, I still manage to keep up with laundry, clean the house and make dinner.

I am a Megamom for 4 beautiful reasons. I have 4 awesome sons, ages almost 1 year up to 8years old. My hubby is in the military so for months at a time when he is deployed I keep the house running. I am always driving my sons to/from school, or to their sporting events. I also make several trips to my 3 year old sons Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy. I do a lot with these boys often times all alone while the hubby is overseas. It makes me appreciate and have deep respect for

I am a “Megamom” because I have unlimited powers to see what is going on when I am not in a room or looking. I know when you are in the cookie jar!!!

I believe any mother engaging w/her children in the spirit of love & development for their future is a “MEGAMOM”..I am entering for my B/F. She is the mother of 4,divrcd & wkg F/T as a prgm director that helps mentally challenged get work. Her youngest is Autistic & wakes @ 4 am everyday,so she is awake,he needs supervision, new teen daughter,& ALL that goes with that,16 & 18 yr old sons..she is holding it ALL together in her little Metrocity, as a MEGAMOM w/a MEGALOVE ,MEGASPIRIT, MEGADETERMINATION & a MEGAMIND…

I get told I’m supermom or in this case megamom a lot. I don’t think I do anything that any mother wouldn’t do for their child. As a mother to a special needs son life has its challenges. He has multiple diagnosis including 3 rare diseases which keeps us driving to doc appts weekly as well as OT, PT and speech weekly. I’ve handed him over to a surgeon and have spent too many nights in the hospital more times than i can count. feeling helpless as a mother but having faith it will be OK. Being his mom is the best gift I’ve ever received even with all we deal with. Im not sure if I’m a megamom or not. I just do the best with the hand I’m dealt. If anything my son is the true superhero. He’s the bravest person I know.

Having 3 kids, staying home with them and struggling with money but making sure my kids are happy and healthy. I volunteer at my kids school and am going to go back to is a struggle to do it all but it is so worth it for me tone proud of myself and for them to be proud of me.

Every mom is a megamom; there is always so much to consider and so much to do!

Being a mega mom is not only caring for your children, husband and household but in my case my 76year old mother who fell and broke her leg and has been out of commission for 11weeks and counting. I not only work full time but get her to her dr. appts and therapy while cooking and cleaning for a family of five.

june February 24, 2011, 11:58 AM

We are all megamom’s because of everything we do everyday for our families.

Courtney Kern February 24, 2011, 12:11 PM

I go above and beyond and have so many followers! When everyone sees me coming in my soccer mom van I use my abilities to get these kids safely to the practice or games always on time. Somehow I use my powers to make other cars get out of my way on the road. I also have the ability to use my super powers to produce Gatorade and snacks lol!

Ann February 24, 2011, 12:51 PM

What makes me a megamom is that I gave up my life for my 2 daughters. I really want them to have a good future, so I don’t let them work that much. I want them to succeed with their careers. I never force them to do what they don’t like. I give them encouragment and recommendations, so they could have an idea what they want to do when they grow up. It worked for them. An older daughter is almost finish with her studies for Broadcasting major. My younger daughter is studying to become a chef. I gave up my career to take care of them.

I work a full time job, bring my sweet girls to pre-school (with no help in the mornings! lol) Chauffeur to gymnastics, church, and play dates. Then it’s mommy time in the evenings when we eat dinner together, or snuggle up on the couch for heart-to-heart talks. I believe my most important job is to encourage my daughters. Our house isn’t always clean, the laundry isn’t always folded, but my girls get read to every night, and quality time with mommy-which is much more important than a mopped floor ;)

jennifer ward February 24, 2011, 2:06 PM

i am a mom who cares for 7 children and 2 grandkids with very little help, my husband is the only source of income , i am the one who cooks, washes n folds tons of laundry, listens and supports all my kids even while they are grown. i make the best of what we have and make life interesting we love each other and i love doing for them, despite my current ailments, i cannot stop, who would take over?

Sarah February 24, 2011, 2:24 PM

Like so many other MegaMoms out there, I work all day, come home & play with my son, then after he’s asleep spend the next several hours taking care of the house & prepping for work so I can do it all over again the next day! The amount of hours at work, loads of laundry in my hamper & dishes in the sink cannot deter me—-I will conquer it all & still find time for some giggles, hugs & kisses. I am MegaMom!
