Being a SAHM mom of 4 for years and a full time grandmother, I have developed eyes in the back of my head, x-ray vision to see what is behind that closed door and ears that can hear whispered conversation 3 rooms away lol.
I raised my two kids as a single mom and worked 28 years in a job where I was the only female ever hired. I am now paying with double knee replacements, bad back, fused ankle and arthritis. Believe it or not, I wouldn’t change a thing because it made me the woman I am today.
because my son’s needs come before my own.
I am a Megamom because no matter what life throws at my girls and myself we somehow always overcome it.
Loving my son and providing him the best education so that he could grow to be a young man any mother would be proud of … well, I think that puts me in the ranking of good or great or “mega” mom. :)
My ex-husband just died and my daughter has been distraught, so I have done everything in my power to be there for her when she needs me!!
A MegaMom? I just thought I was a very busy person! My oldest children are grown and gone but they keep bringing my grandchildren over… I love being a Nana. I also have a 13 year old still at home…. nuff said! So like others here, I have a harth & home to care for… and now, I have a fledgling business to run… brides to meet, cake to make (check us out at cakesbymymomandme.com). Oh and did I mention, we’ll shortly have a home restoration project to do this Spring? Oh, I can’t forget church… busy, busy, busy. Well, it’s tax time now…gotta go make Uncle Sam happy!
What makes me a MegaMom ? I am a single mom of 3 kids 2girls and a boy oldest are teenagers youngest a tween. I try to make life fun and provide my kids with great values and morals.
I’m a megamom because I have 3 adult children and 5 megagrandchildren am here to help out with what ever they need me for.
I am a stay-at-home mother of three. Brandon is 11, Alyssa is 6, and Layla is 8 months. My two older kids are actually my step-kids. My husband and I have custody of them. So, I do the mom thing every morning for 3 kids. On top of it, Layla has some medical problems, so for the first 6 months of her life, we basically lived at Akron Children’s hospital. She’s been through two major surgeries to separate the fused sutures in her skull. That’s what makes me a mega-mom!
I think I’m a megamom because I do my very best to take care of my two adorable boys even though I have to work full-time as well. :)
Wonderful DVD, my 7 grand children that I watch would love it. Every time one of them see Mega mind anywhere, they scream out Mega Mind grandma!!!
I’m a Megamom because I work F/T, I chauffeur my daughter to Girl Scouts, Gymnastics and swim lessons and my son to Karate & swimming. In addition to dinner, baths, homework, cleaning house, cleaning the hamster cage, cleaning up after the cat, reading bedtime stories, and finally rubbing THEIR feet while they fall asleep. Sometime I use my cape to wrap myself when I fall asleep on the floor in my kids room.
I try to take my kids out for memorable days and times on the weekends.
I think every mother is a “megamom” in her own way! I am a stay at home mother of 2 beautiful little boys, Jalen is 14 months old and Jaxon is 14 weeks old. I take care of my home, raise my boys to be the gentlemen they should be, run errands, everything that a mother needs to do. We love to watch movies and read books together, anything to teach them new things. There is nothing better in this world than being a mother.
What makes me a Megamom is the ability to recognize and celebrate other Megamoms! I have 3 amazing children who are each unique and will become contributing members to society. My son is attending his second year of college and is on his way to becoming a professional writer. My oldest daughter is a high school junior. She suffered a brain injury at school when she was in the 5th grade. Her injury became a journey for our entire family, and this Megamom had to learn how to navigate the medical system to become her advocate. She will make a great vet one day. My youngest daughter marches to her own drummer. She was 3 weeks premature and has overcome fine and gross motor delays to learn how to play volleyball and the tuba. My husband and I have been married for (EEK!) 21 years. Our family of 5 has endured so much together—I am looking forward to many more years of learning and growing as the Megamom of this crew!
I have always worked full-time and along with my husband have raised 4 great kids, ages 9 to 17. They always have three home cooked meals a day, clean clothes on their back and are all A students in school. They are all actively involved in multiple sports that they get shuttled back and forth to. I never miss a game if I can help it, and I’m always there to lend an ear or a hand whichever is needed. I also teach Sunday school and am heavily involved with our church. I’m forever helping with community stuff such as bake sales, school stuff, etc. I hope that at least my children see me as a MegaMom….as some days I feel I need extra arms, legs, wings, something…
Well, I’m a widow and have been bringing up my son now age 9 alone and trying to work full time to support us - Eric was just 5 when Kevin passed away and I hve only a Mom - no other family so it’s just the 3 of us -
Spinning plates daily to get things done for 3 children, a husband, a horse, a rabbit, and myself makes me a Megamom.

I think just being a caring loving mother, who teaches, advocates for and protects her children should qualify you as a megamom! If you pile grad school, teaching full time and trying to keep a household in order (yikes) then I’m not sure what the appropriate word would be!
