Absidi: Oh man, I am so relieved!! Today was day 3 of my period, so I took the First Response Fertility Test. I was really nervous because I was afraid it was going to tell me I needed to go to the doctor. Like I said in the video, I have been to the doctor and done a bunch of tests, but it is still scary. I am SO glad that it turned out OK.

The 30 minutes for the results seems like an eternity though! I kept walking over to the stick trying to see if the results were good or bad yet. I am going to start the ovulation tests tomorrow!! I hope that I ovulate soon ... my hubby has to go to Camp Pendleton (California) for some training in two weeks. He will only be gone for one week ... and I REALLY hope I ovulate before he goes!! I'm glad Meredith asked Dr. Ahlering the "saving sperm" question!! Ha ha, because knowing me, I would try to do something crazy like that! It is so funny because I was actually excited to get my period. I couldn't wait to start the testing!

One of my friends is due in July, and I have already offered to throw her a baby shower. I know, I know, I need to stop throwing all the showers...but I had already offered a few months ago. So anyways, I just found out that another one of our friends is pregnant! She has a 9-month-old and she's over a month along in her pregnancy. When I first heard she was pregnant, I was like, "ARE YOU SERIOUS!!" She had been saying how her daughter is a handful and she didn't want another one for a while ... and she gets pregnant. After getting over the disappointment that I still don't have a baby, my first thought was, "Great, another baby shower I have to plan." =[ But ladies, I am taking your advice! I am not going to offer, and if any of the husbands or our friends ask, I am simply going to say I can't. It is going to be weird for me to attend one without having to worry about everything getting taken care of. I definitely think that it is best for me to not throw it. The advice you ladies have given to me has really stuck, and I agree that it is what is best for me.

So thank you ladies!! I appreciate all the advice!
