Anh-Chi: Right now, I have no idea what to expect ... whether or not I'm pregnant (even though my heart tells me I am), how much longer my mother-in-law will survive, and what I'll gain from this trip.

That's the beauty of all this though ... charting unknown territory hand-in-hand with my best friend/husband. I hope my mother-in-law can live that much longer, and maybe, just maybe, out of some miracle in the sky, become the grandmother she's been dreaming about for so long ...
