Anh-Chi: I have wonderful news! My friend/colleague recently got pregnant ... and she used the First Response ovulation and pregnancy tests!!! She was following my updates on Conception Diaries, learned about the ovulation calculator found at FirstResponse.com, and then decided to use some products herself. So this is a true testament to the power of these products, and I'm not just saying that to promote First Response.

Honestly, I used to feel utterly lost, every time I tried selecting from different conception products. Should I choose the generic store brand, or is that not as reliable as the well-known ones (worth sucking up the extra costs)? Should I choose electronic tests, or should I simply rely on the infamous pink lines? And if I do choose electronic tests, would I prefer "pregnant" or "not pregnant" vs. "yes" or "no." The list could go on forever ... but as a business woman and housewife (dare I say), I don't have time to spend hours at the drugstore deciding on something that seems more like second nature. So here is why brand loyalty is so important ... I'm the type of person who sticks to a brand "till death do us part."

My "marriage" with certain products goes beyond materialistic desires, but is more of a need for trust and reliability. I want to know that the product follows exceptional standards, delivers beyond a consumer's expectations, and gives me the reassurance that I'm taken care of at the end of the day. And although the ovulation tests I've been taking have been nothing but nerve-wracking, I do feel I'm in good hands. At least if the results are negative, I know it's just that. I'm not being cheated or misled. If the results are positive, then all the better!!! This is my health, my body, and my future as a mom ... so I would undoubtedly put great care into the decisions I make! Let's hope it pays off, and my husband and I can start a family soon!!!
