Korto: On April 1, 2009, I was flown to Los Angeles by Telepictures. It was an experience that I won't forget. I arrived at Los Angeles International during a heat wave which at first was welcomed, given the frigid weather in New York. My mind quickly changed once I realized that the temperature was going to be much higher during my stay than I initially thought. The temperature rose to 102 degrees and I didn't pack enough light clothing to combat the fiery heat. The trip started with my driver, who was very pleasant and polite. I checked into my hotel and I was shocked at how luxurious and spacious the room was, it was perfect for much-needed rest after an uncomfortable six-hour flight. After a brief rest I met my fellow momlogic bloggers for dinner at a very nice French restaurant. Everyone was funny, pleasant, and down-to-earth. Immediately we all opened up to each other, sharing our stories and experiences. We mainly talked about the complications and hardships of conceiving. It was interesting being around other women who understood what I'm going through.

After dinner we returned to our hotel and prepared for the next day to shoot at the "Extra" studio with Dr. A. from First Response. Before the shoot, we were put in hair and makeup, which was a great experience of its own. The shoot, which was directed at Dr. A. answering our questions and concerns, was very informative. If I had to sum up my entire experience in L.A., I'll say it was a fun, pampering, and informative two days. However, the one thing I disliked was having to leave after only two days!
