Korto: I just took an ovulation test -- unfortunately, I'm not ovulating yet. According to my cycle, I should be ovulating between Wednesday May 6th and Monday May 11th. I'm very anxious! I would love to get pregnant before the summer officially begins. That way, I can take my little one for a walk by this time next year.

During these next few days, as with each month, we put aside our sexual spontaneity in order to save the lovemaking for ovulation days. The scheduled lovemaking has been tough, especially on Ben, because I usually ask him to hold back until I'm ovulating. He's usually great about it but I'd rather not have him under so much pressure -- he doesn't like how technical and timed it's become.

As much as I'd like to have him involved in this whole process, I'm learning not to let him know when I'm ovulating so it's not like a task for him. He says it makes him feel like it's a calculus test instead of an intimate moment with his wife.
