Meredith: So, once again I have to give mad props to the Momlogic Community. One of the members suggested I test for ovulation morning, afternoon, and nighttime. It made sense to me that not all women have an LH surge in the morning only. It is possible to have the surge in the afternoon or evening. Well, I tested this afternoon and saw two distinct lines on my First Response Ovulation test. Yea!! Had I waited until tomorrow morning to test, I would have missed out on almost a whole day of peak fertility.
So, I guess I should be excited about my positive surge, but I'm not. I will still go through the motions and try my very best to get pregnant. I am just trying not to get my hopes up. I have been kind of in a down-in-the-dumps mood lately. Don't ask me why. I think I am just getting emotionally exhausted from all the letdowns.
I called my husband at lunch to let him know about my positive surge. I think he is also pretty spent emotionally, but he said we could go at it when I get home today. Yea for small miracles! Let's hope for a big miracle ... or baby in my future.
