Meredith: Here we go again! Period ... check ... First Response Fertility Test ... check ... Continue trying to conceive ... check. Looks like I am in the clear to "Party Like a Porn Star" this month. My husband is one lucky fellow. I have been trying to not just sex it up during my window of opportunity whenever possible. Just to keep it fun and not mechanical. Pardon this brief interruption for a rant from Meredith.

You: Would everyone please stop telling me to relax? It will happen.
Me: I am relaxed!
You: Take a vacation or a spa getaway?
Me: Have you heard there is a recession going on? Give me the money and I will be on my way.
You: My friend tried for a couple years before they finally gave up and guess what? They got pregnant!
Me: I don't want to have to wait for an oops ... I want it now. I don't want to give up on my dream!

A trip to an adult toy store is in my future. I want to be prepared for a fun month of trying. You've got to keep it interesting, right? Who knows ... fuzzy handcuffs may be just what the doctor ordered. Don't judge me. I promise I am not a freak or a nympho. I just want to get pregnant. I am almost at the point of desperation. So, I am going to start testing for ovulation in the next few days. Until then, I need to start thinking of new positions and techniques. Kama Sutra, anyone?? Or, perhaps "The Joy of Sex" ... either will do.
