As of today, Whole Foods will no longer be asking customers, “Paper or plastic?” Instead, the store is encouraging customers to bring in their own reusable bags. That’s expected to save about 100 million plastic bags in 2008 alone. Get into the mindset: Once BYOB (bring your own bag) becomes habit, the inconvenience disappears.
