NASCAR's All-Star race Sunday night looked a whole lot more like a UFC event -- at least at the end -- when Ricky Stenhouse Jr. hauled off and socked Kyle Busch in the face for wrecking into him earlier in the evening.

The scene was chaotic ... after getting run over by Busch in the second lap of the contest at North Wilkesboro Speedway in North Carolina, Stenhouse Jr. waited all night long to confront the NASCAR superstar in the raceway's garage.

He got in Busch's face, told him he was pissed over the crash ... and then he threw a right hand that connected with the driver's left cheek. He appeared to throw at least one more punch -- before all hell then broke loose.

Katy Perry got a sweet sendoff on the TV show she's been on for 7 years -- with "American Idol" paying tribute to her by having the remaining contestants sing a bunch of her songs.

The pop star showed up on 'Idol' Sunday night for the season finale ... and before they announced the winner (Abi Carter), Ryan Seacrest and co. gave KP her own special moment in the broadcast ... and of course, it included music.

Multiple sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ, Britney's mental health has been in a tailspin since the conservatorship ended. They say she often is not taking the meds that stabilize her, and she is drinking and using various drugs which is especially dangerous, because she has substance abuse problems that sent her to rehab multiple times.

We're told Britney has radical mood swings and often goes into rages that end in physical violence. There are times we're told it's impossible to communicate with her because she can't engage in rational conversation.

Jessica Biel made a transformation over the weekend ... cutting off her beautiful long locks to showcase her new bob hairdo.

The actress posted an Instagram video that started with her gripping bunches of brown hair on each side of her head as music played in background.

Jessica then yanked her tresses in sync with the sound effects of gunshots before tilting her head sideways and giving her strands one more tug. Then her image jumped from her old look to her fresh bob haircut. In the caption, Jessica joked, “Brought back the f*** ass Bob."

Zak Bagans is turning up the heat with some paranormal passion, 'cause he's been busy conjuring up the spirit of a haunted brothel's former madam, and he says he captured proof she's still plenty saucy!

Surprisingly, the baby -- rocking only a diaper and looking real young (no older than 1 or 2) -- calls out, "Me!" while raising its hand ... leaving viewers stunned the little one is already familiar with such a pricey chain at such a young age. Also ... it's, like, conscious. 😆
