I'm so confused. I try the time out thing and a little pat to the butt every now and again.He gets so frustrated.I'm embarrassed. I try to blame it on him being two but he's so mean to me.I don't get it.I try to be firm with him and so does his father.What's wrong ?What can I do?

Maybe your son doesn't really understand that hit hurts. The next time he hits you, you should put your hands over your face and pretend to cry. It will make your son stop in his tracks to figure out why you are crying. Then explain to him clamly that when he hits you it hurts you. My daughter would bit until she was three and once she realized it hurt she stopped biting. Good luck and stay stong!
Oh i so0o feel you!!My sons 3 and he hits me too,lolz,but i mean he punchs me,kicks me and hes bad as in he doesnt listen somtimes and tells me no.Time out doesnt work for my son either.Sometimes a little spanking is what they need so dont feel bad ok.Also you just have to take time outs for you thenjust talk to him and tell him you love him and kiss him and tell him you cant hit mommy.always try talking to him,dont give up.im not saying to spoil him but just talk to him nice . good luck
