Is it wrong to not like your kids? I have 3 year old twins and I don't think I like them. The oldest has Autism which "at times" explains why he acts the way that he does. His brother does not have Autism. Which makes it harder to deal with the temper tantrums and he's smart enough to know that if he has a temper tantrum then it will upset his brother "who has Autism" and then the MIND SPLITING episodes starts to happen. I love my kid to death, but I want to RUN AWAY!! I am just convinced that I don't like 3 year olds!!!
I dream of running away to Mexico all the time, I don't think that there is a mother out there who doesn't fantasize about running away, I can't imagine how hard it must be to have a child with autism let alone twins, but know this you are not alone and there will be days that you don't like your kids, but there will be too many moments to count that you can't imagine life without them.
