I have a 6 1/2 month old and we probably shouldn't of been doing this for so long but we still swaddel him. Just about every morning he wakes up at 5or 6 wanting to be re-wrapped. does anyone have any idea how we can wrap him up to where he will fall asleep and stay asleep?

My daughter LOVED being swaddled when she was first born but since I couldnt hold her all the time I put up something we natives call and "Indian Swing", its like a hammock for a baby.... two strings attached to the wall and in the middle you wrap a blanket with a pillow in it... (my explanation doesnt sound good, if you would like me to email you a picture I could do that). Anywayz, onces baby is in the swing it snugs around her and they feel as if they are being held. We had one in our living room and another in our bedroom. At nite we would put her in that swing, within arms reach of my side of the bed, if she awoke in the night i would just lean over and swing her a few swings and readjust her blanket. Anywayz, enough writing about that.
