i am only breast feeding one breast(right breast).my son is now 11 months my problem is like 5 days ago i got this lump in my breast its hard and not very huge.it kinda sore when i pay attention to it like rubbing it and stuff..its on the upper part of my breast.i wonder what it is.they said its a milk thats stucked up in there if so anyone can tell me what to do so its gone? it really bothers me now coz i dont like having it help!
It sounds like you might have a blocked milk duct. The best thing to do is massage it ( I know it will hurt) before and after a feeding. Continue to breast feed. Is there any way you can pump to help get it out.
Are you sick are anything because if you are you might want to go to the dr. It might be Mastitis.
If it does not clear up you should go to the dr
well..first of all breast feeding can cause lumps periodically but that should go away. i would with out a doubt get checked out by either your gyno. or pcp. get a screening from one of them as it is better to be safe then sorry. good luck~!
