I don't think I can handle my daughter's "princess" phase anymore! If I see another princess doll in a frilly dress I might lose it...

yes it does get tireing but teach her what a real princess is she is kind, loving, generous, allways willing to help and above all polite. so either you will have a perfect little princess on your hands or she just likes the pretty dolls and you taught her a good lesson in life. show her other things besides dolls, remember good clean quiet fun is so much easir than the little girl who loves to go and play in daddys dirt pile then sit on her cream carpet.(carpet cleaner anyone)lol

I don't know why she's making a big deal about this; if your daugther wants to be princess and dress up and make a mess LET HER DO IT!!!
She's just a kid, and maybe she don't want to endup like you CRABASS!!!

I agree that you should have fun with it and remember to take lots of pictures so when she goes goth you have something to laugh over. I have children ranging in age from 10-36 and I can tell you that each phase they go through in the search for the pieces of who they will be is an amazing adventure if you just let it go and enjoy it. I say takes lots of pictures because they grow up so fast and it is so much fun to see the photos of that growth process side by side in a book.

p.s. i'm 72 yrs and still a princess, a good person, a wonderful mother and grandmother, a good wife i wish i had a friend like me, ha ha

Why does it bother you so much?

Cherish it! I know it may feel nauseating at times..but now that my daughters' are older, I crave the days of tiaras, pretty gowns and magic wands. Enjoy every minute of it because it's fleeting!
