I love my husband and kids, but sometimes I miss hanging out with my friends. None of them have kids, so even if I did get to have a girls night it probably wouldn't be the same. Would it?

No, I disagree wholeheartedly, you don't know that they all want want she has. That is patently ridiculous to assume. But to the original poster, try a girl's night. Yeah, things will be awkward at first, but if they're your friends, they'll help you adjust, and understand your newly set boundaries. I am the only one in my group with a child, and I know which of my friends adore her and who would rather not have babysitting duties. You NEED time out of the nest, babe. It makes you a better mom and wife to take care of yourself. And if your friends took a hard left turn into sucksville somewhere between your 2nd and 3rd trimesters, hit meetup.com and find a mom group.

No. it wouldn't. Be happy with what you have, they all want what you have. They are still shopping, you have already found it !
