We were trawling the Web when we came across this incredibly moving letter a mom sent to several members of the U.S. Department of Defense, the Army and the Senate. It's about her openly gay son, who completed two tours in Operation Iraqi Freedom yet was discharged because of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell."
And now, yet another surreal chapter in the babies vs. planes saga: ABC News reports that a Southwest flight attendant had to "remove" a baby from her parents because the mom smacked the 13-month-old across the face ... to keep her from crying. WTH?!
Once again, breastfeeding is the cause of controversy. One Manhattan mom has gone litigiously livid because she says a cafe banned her and her friend from breastfeeding their "hungry and tired" babies -- when a sign on the establishment read, "Breastfeeding welcome here."
Conservative Florida gubernatorial candidate Bill McCollum aspires to regress our nation in a variety of ways -- among them, by supporting Florida's ban on gay adoptions. And as if that weren't bigoted enough, he also thinks gays are unfit to foster parent. WTH?!
