I collect these kinds of dolls. I could tell instantly that it was a fake. However, to an untrained eye, these dolls to look quite real. To the point where some of them are creepy looking.

The people that can craft these dolls are quite talented. I don’t think I would have the patience to make the beautiful babies. There is a company that makes dolls that can be played with for children. It is called Mytwinn. My daughter was given one by her dad when she was 8. She had matching clothes.
I think some doll artists may carry the doll everywhere like a real doll because it can bring them business. For others, carrying the doll around fills a need.
The dolls are so pretty… they make me want to pick them up and smell their little clean baby smell.
Things I like to touch: mossy baby heads and horse noses.

Actually, all babies each have their own shape head and eye slits…well, no one has the same anything. This baby doll looks exactly like a real baby.

As real babies, they are beautiful - but as dolls…it is creepy.

My heart goes out to any woman who has lost a child. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain and misery but I don’t think buying a fake doll and carrying it around to replace the lost child is healthy. If they keep it to remind them of how wonderful their baby was then there is no harm in that but when the delusion has them stuck in time and they speak to the doll as if it could hear and they take it to town and leave it in the car…therapy may be the better way to go. Or hey, there are children born EVERYDAY that no one wants to keep - adopt! :o) Foster a child, God knows there are so many who need to be loved and there are people wasting it on vinyl.

And the dolls should be left at home for sure….if people see what they believe to be abuse or neglect and they ignore it because it could just be a doll….how horrible for those real children.

As for the company who makes them…everyone needs to make a living and they are offering a product people will pay good money for. There was no ill-intent. Their product may bring happiness - if you want to dis a company how about the ones that produce something bad…something that kills people…gosh I don’t know…something like cigarettes maybe!

At the end of the day, people are going to do what people want to do, I just pray that God heals those that need it and keeps all of us strong no matter what we have to face. And before you make harsh comments, try to put yourself in someones shoes and feel the pain they may be feeling.

Have on of your own? Maybe some people can’t have children and this is the only way they can feel like they are mothers. How dare you judge anyone! If this makes you happy so be it!

Who ever thinks babies are born with the perfect head shape or “other” need to go visit newborns or get more info before they talk about doing things right. these dolls look so real and who ever makes them do a great job in replicating babies. Personaly, i would not get one, but who ever dose its their buisness and people criticizing Also have nothing better to so. I do have to agree though….Please dont leave them exposed in a car or treat them like dolls in public, where people might suspect neglect or child abuse.

The shape of this baby’s head looks a bit off. The eye slits look a bit too long. If someone is going to replicate a baby, do it right! Still…

I find it extremely disturbing that someone would want to own one of these dolls. If they feel it’s absolutely necessary to own one (creepy!), PLEASE DON’T LEAVE THEM IN THE CAR WHERE PEOPLE CAN SEE THEM AND THINK THEY ARE BEING NEGLECTED!!

Wow, I think as a parent I would love to see if this company could take a photo of my child and make a doll that looked just like her. It would be a great keepsake for her.
