There’s nothing wrong with the price or the actual doll. If it makes someone happy, that’s ok. If they have the money, who cares? It’s that person’s business and money. Some people just get that desire to have and hold a little one. I had a friend who had babies “just because.” The thing is, that baby grows and is a lifetime commitment. Her kids are now torn, because she’s not living with them anymore. They were more fun when they were little. Trust me, $1000.00 for a doll is a lot cheaper and nobody gets hurt. I’d like to have another baby, but I know my limits, I already have four older kids. I think this would be rather nice, when I get that “woman urge” to have and hold a baby. And I can leave it at home without a babysitter when I go for a run or go to the gym.

Ah Tee…hate to burst your bubble but I don’t know ANYONE who would pay $1000+ for a child to play with a doll. Not only are these things just plain wrong, they’re expensive too!

My advise, get a puppy!

Oh please stop! These are just baby dolls that the artist happened to make look very real. Millions of little girls play with dolls and love to pretend they are real. These dolls are much cuter than the cabbage patch kids or the Baby alive dolls from back in my time that you would feed and it poops. No controversy there! Geez any grown woman who walks around playing with any baby dolls pretending they are real sure needs help. These dolls are adorable and kudos to the maker of them.

This doll really looks like a new born baby… most of them do! Anyone who has children or has seen new borns the first days should know that who ever makes these dolls do a great job in replicating them. I have seen many many newborns and believe me there are very Very Very few babies that are cute the fist day they are born(and the nicer looking ones are born by cecerian). It is normal for babies to be swollen or looked beat up the first days they are born, it usally goes away after the first or second day. NE way these dolls are very life like. Again I dont think id have one still.

WTH…. This baby looks…and I really don’t like to say it but really ugly. I mean I hope this is not what someone’s actual baby looked like and if so I AM SO SORRY to say this. I just think the people making these could have done a better job.

Lover of Life-

Maybe this is not the right forum for you. While your point is valid (children are creatures of God), these are dolls! Very very creepy dolls. Get a grip.

you all should be ashamed by some of your comments, regardless whether these dolls were modeled after actual live babies, babies are special gifts only on loan to us from GOD and he is the only one allowed to judge. what’s beautiful ugly etc…. for women that can’t have children or whose babies didn’t have the chance to live they are beautiful. my compliments to the artist.

Yikes!! This baby looks half human, half monkey! I would feel sorry for the parents if this baby was real. It looks retarded, poor thing. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but if anyone thinks this baby looks cute, they need glasses or psychiatric assessment!

This baby was left in the bath water too long!

Seriously… . I know all babies are “beautiful” but this is not one of those!! Why would anyone want to replicate so horrifying looking?

Sara Connors watch out! Alien meets human. WTF is this??? The kid has more wrinkles than my grandma!

I’m sorry but if I saw this thing out in public, I would think it was a mongoloid child. Certainly not something to make fun of but also nothing to replicate. What’s wrong with these people? Are they are medication? If not, they need to be!
