The point of Prom is you are meant to look and feel like a fairy tale princess.
This just looks like somthing that you can buy relativly cheaply from a warehouse. Perfect for clubbing but heed my advice- NOT PROM.

Teen morals have nothing to do with the dresses they wear to prom. This dress is not appropriate for a prom, I agree, however it would be more appropriate for a club. Some people fail to realize that not all teenagers lack morals, dresses do not lead to teen sexuality, because teens will be sexual regardless of what they are told and sometimes even to be rebellious. Dresses at a prom do not lead them to do this.

Plus I heard a lot of prom -08er’s saying that they opted for smaller dress so that they could wear them again… I have not not worn my prom dress since prom and it has been 3 years.
I believe in the pic I can see her knee and I imagine the back is out. I would approve this for a club and possibly and after prom which is supposed to be more like a club party but monitored by adults and keeping our babies safe. Though they are stubborn !
This one isn’t too bad. If girls spent as much time paying attention in school as they do “ho-ing” we would be a better country. No one can spell, but we can have babies at 16 and expect everyone else to pay for their upbringing. Moms need to stop being their kids “friends” and be parents. Okay, after making it through all 27 dresses I must say that about 20 of them weren’t slutty at all. If this list had been titled “27 Hideous Dresses” about 25 of them would have fit the criteria. Thus confirming that some dresses were slutty, some ugly, some ugly AND slutty, and some perfectly acceptable.
And as a side note: I don’t think that 11 year olds or loud mouth 13 year olds should be commenting AT ALL since they have never attended a prom, and therefore don’t know what is acceptable by society’s standards.

Again, This is NOT a prom dress. It is not a bad dress, its more for a highschool GRADUATE going out to dinner and dancing with friends or out on a date, its a dancing or cocktail dress but this is not what prom is about. People are losing touch with that classic ballroom elegant feel of PROM, it is meant to be a good time but in a classy way that is like the first time they start to feel like grown ups, its not a big club! That just kills the idea of prom, it makes it a regular night out as opposed to the special night its supposed to be. There are so many pretty dresses to wear to prom, why choose this one? This dress, as many have already said, is great for clubbing or even just a night with your man. Prom dress shopping is supposed to be fun - you get to look a pretty dresses and imagine you’re a princess. This dress as it is doesn’t seem like a dream prom dress to me.
If this dress was a little bit longer it would look so much prettier and I would have worn it to my prom, although black does not look good on me so I’d pick another color. I can’t imagine dancing in a short dress. Am I the only one who has dresses ride up a bit when there is a fast song on? That’s why I don’t wear short dresses ever! At 18, you might be a legal adult but my theory is this-you live under my roof, I pay the bills, including the dress that you will wear to the prom therefore I get to decide what is appropriate or not. Since when do we start letting our teenage children decide what is appropriate. Even at 18 we don’t always make the best decesions.

What I don’t understand is why the women modeling these ugly dresses are women not high school looking Seniors. I know kids now a days look older for their age, but come on. Most moms couldn’t wear these dresses.
These models are a size zero with, in most cases, no breasts. If you put a cutout top with a six inch skirt on a model, it’ll look pretty. If you put it on a size 6-12 teenager, it’ll be showing so much that THEY won’t want to leave the house! Besides, most proms have an underwear rule, top and bottom, and you couldn’t wear any with most of these dresses.

Teen morals have nothing to do with the dresses they wear to prom. This dress is not appropriate for a prom, I agree, however it would be more appropriate for a club. Some people fail to realize that not all teenagers lack morals, dresses do not lead to teen sexuality, because teens will be sexual regardless of what they are told and sometimes even to be rebellious. Dresses at a prom do not lead them to do this.

Someone Mentioned the rise in teen pregnancy? Dont you remember in the good ol day parents were telling there 13 year old daughters to marry a 40 year old guy and pregnent by the age of 14 and it was normal. Teen girls are trying to figure out how to deal with their sexuality, and need parental influence. When I was that age, I too wanted to show most of everything I had, it is not that unusual. However, I had parents that would not allow it. You can be sexy and decent. Most teen girls just need help in understanding how to be not only pretty and sexy, but also classy. Most of these dresses are NOT appropriate for proms. You might be 18 and in high school, but my high school had a dress code no matter how old you were. Plus, what messages are we sending to these young men, especially your date? I don’t think it’s helping them out any when you have young woman putting it all out on display. i looked at every single dress on the list and i think that most of you guys need to realize that most of the dresses are not slutty just ugly. nobody wears pepto bismol pink dresses to prom anymore. half of the dresses on this list are like from what the 80’s?
well they were either ugly or out of date…except a few that were absolutley gorgeous. like 10 were even slightly slutty…wake up and smell the coffee we are not going to wear sweats and a t-shirt to prom what do you expect us to wear????!!!!???!!?!?!?!?1
