Koko the Gorilla
The well-known gorilla is equally famous for her fantastic knowledge of American Sign Language as well as for her love of kittens. There’s even a book called Koko’s Kitten, written by Koko’s teacher, Dr. Francine Patterson, that chronicles the gorilla’s superior care for her feline babies.
