When Brit celeb Katie Price went shopping and out to eat this week with her baby in tow, jaws dropped. Not because she voluntarily went shopping with a 9-month-old (which is a feat in itself), but because her kid has full-blown chicken pox, reports TMZ. Is it really OK for her to be out and about in that condition?

We called friend of momlogic and pediatrician Dr. Cara Natterson to find out. "Chicken pox (also called "varicella") is contagious starting 2 days BEFORE the rash appears, and continues until the last pock is crusted over--usually 5-7 days after the rash first appears," she says. So depending on how long the baby has had it, she might very well still have been contagious. Those waiters at The Ivy better watch their backs!

Richie Sambora not charged with child endangerment after being arrested for DUI.

Sambora was charged last month with driving under the influence while his daughter, Ava, was in the car. According to TMZ, Richie pled no contest yesterday to driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or higher, but prosecutors did NOT file child endangerment charges.

Sambora will pay a $390 fine plus damages. He'll be placed on three years informal probation and must attend an alcohol education course. Geez, kids get harsher punishment than this just for staying out too late.

Not many Moms want to hear those words, but it happens to be one mother's reality.

People is reporting that Ali Lohan, Lindsay's 14-year-old sister, has begun filming Mostly Ghostly—her very first film project—in LA.

She's obviously moving forward with her goal of becoming just like big sis...as she told told Teen Vogue in this month's issue, "I grew up watching Lindsay. It made me want to do what she does. Just the whole vibe. Being there, being on camera, or onstage."
